Ben Betts

Ben Bett’s musical style is influenced by the music of the coast - calypso, reggae, ska – as much as it is shaped by classics, jam bands, jazz, blues, folk, funk and hip-hop. In his solo performances, Ben utilizes a wide variety of musical instruments, often accompanying steel drums and vocals with backing tracks recorded live by looping together beatboxing, guitar, bass, keys, saxophone, and vocals to create a dynamic experience that is full and expressive.
