Vineyard Worker Health and Wellness Fair

Support the vineyard worker health and wellness fair

We received the following email from SamSara Wine Co., and it's such a worthy cause that we thought we’d just repeat it here. Thanks for your support!

We’re getting ready for the annual Vineyard Worker Health and Wellness fair and we would love you to be a part of it.

Organized by the Santa Barbara Vintners Foundation (SBVF), CHC, PHP, Human Rights Watch, and the Commission for Women, the August 12th event benefits farmworkers and their families.

There will be complimentary legal services, massages, health services, vaccinations, meal services, continuing education information, plus food, drinks, games, and attractions for families and children.

SAMsARA, joined by other wineries in the area, has donated both time and money to the event.

The mission of the event is in line with our core values of sustainability, and the goal of helping farmworkers and their families resonates deeply with us at SAMsARA.

Vineyard workers are the lifeblood of what we do and we would like to invite you to join our support.

For those of you who are not in Santa Barbara County, SBVF has set up an incredible Amazon Wishlist where you can donate to buy critical items for workers. Just choose the "Story of Soil Los Olivos" delivery address which will be a pre-loaded option in the checkout.

If you’re local to Santa Barbara and want to donate in person, attend the event at Coastal Vineyard Care, 224 East Hwy 246, Buellton CA 93427.

If you can’t make the event, feel free to drop off backpacks, back-to-school supplies, hats, beanies, sweatshirts, or sunscreen to the Goleta facility any time before August 11.

Thank you for your support of this worthy cause!
